We love our home in Sheridan, Wyoming and appreciate the warm welcome we received when we started Big Horn Trading in 2015! We arrived from the windy city of Livingston, Montana where we spent thirteen years surviving not only the wind, but flooding, forest fires, and drought with confidence and grace. Our passion is sharing knowledge and experience with others in order to encourage others to be self-sufficient and confident in their ability to survive and even thrive during any emergency or natural disaster.
John has 15+ years experience as a pawnbroker and is a Life member of the NRA with a passion for firearms. He is an NRA certified Pistol Instructor. He does volunteer work for non-profit organizations including the Friends of the NRA, and the Revolutionary War Veterans Association in the Appleseed Program where Basic Rifle Marksmanship skills and US History are taught.
Kathy brings her computer skills and passion for sharing information through social media to Big Horn Trading, LLC. She speaks Ebay with ease and provides a Consignment Service, if you want to sell it with out the hassle, just bring your treasures in to the store. Kathy will sell it, pack it and mail it for you. She is also professional chef who is exploring long term food preservation and developing recipes utilizing freeze-dried and canned goods.
We are members of the National Pawnbrokers Association, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Sheridan Association, and the National Shooting Sports Association. We also benefit from membership in the National Firearms Dealers Network which provides access to 4 major Gun Distributors for us to buy from. If you don’t see it in the store you can buy hard to find Guns, Ammo and Accessories from this website or our store and we can have it in store within 72 hours.
